Role: Salesforce Developer (Apex/VF III)
Location: Remote Duration: 9+ months Employment type: W2 (contract)
Overview
As a Salesforce Developer, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence design, deliver value through reliable implementations, and build customer-centric quality applications. You’ll focus on hands-on development along with test planning/specs and tooling/testing frameworks to improve engineer productivity and enable testing automation.
Responsibilities
- Develop, administer, manage, configure, and maintain enterprise applications on Salesforce
- Understand enterprise application configuration and technical/functional capabilities, including release impacts
- Build and enhance Salesforce-based applications: debug code, implement monitoring, and deploy to production
- Propose and develop requirements for testing frameworks/tools to support testing automation and environment setup
- Build, enhance, monitor, and maintain test automation infrastructure
- Maintain system documentation and follow Salesforce policies/procedures
- Proactively monitor services to identify and resolve issues
- Partner with teams to implement new functionality using Agile processes
- Manage tasks/projects in a fast-paced environment and drive issues to resolution with strong stakeholder focus
- Maintain 100% compliance with security policies, SOX procedures, and change management controls
Required Skills
- 3+ years of Salesforce administration and development experience
- Hands-on development on the Salesforce.com platform and APIs
- Strong Apex skills (classes, triggers, web services)
- SOQL proficiency
- LWC and Force.com platform knowledge
- Communities experience
- Hands-on experience with MuleSoft integrations
- Experience with Agentforce applications
- Experience with Slack and integrations
- Agile experience: estimate, design, build, unit test, and deploy Salesforce solutions
- Ability to write clear technical documentation
- Diagnose, track, and resolve quality issues; communicate status/risk effectively
- Source control experience (e.g., Git, Bitbucket)
Preferred Requirements
- Salesforce certifications: Certified Platform Developer I, Platform App Builder, and Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator
- Integration-related certification would be an advantage
- Participate in product/feature design with technical and business teams
