About the role

Role Overview

You will work as a Desktop Application Developer (Remote) for a client, building and maintaining desktop applications using ElectronJS. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software and improve user experience.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain desktop applications with ElectronJS and JavaScript/TypeScript.
Design, implement, and optimize application features with a focus on performance and scalability.
Translate product requirements into technical specifications.
Write clean, maintainable, efficient code following best practices.
Debug and resolve issues reported by users or identified through testing.

Requirements

Proficiency with ElectronJS and JavaScript/TypeScript.
Experience with Node.js and front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.
Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architectures.
Familiarity with Git.
Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.

Nice-to-Haves

Experience working closely with product teams to define and implement requirements.
