About the role

Role Overview

As Deputy Chief of Staff in the Office of the CEO at Ghost AI, you’ll be a trusted operator working alongside the Founder and Chief of Staff. You’ll help drive high-priority initiatives across multiple AI ventures with speed and precision.

Responsibilities

Manage external relationships with investors, partners, media, and other key stakeholders
Prepare executive materials, including board materials, investor updates, presentations, and communications
Coordinate legal/regulatory/government affairs initiatives with external counsel
Lead and support strategic projects, such as fundraising, market research, hiring, partnerships, and new venture launches
Act as a trusted extension of the CEO, ensuring priorities are executed effectively

Requirements

3–5 years experience in Investment Banking, Venture Capital, Management Consulting, Chief of Staff/Strategy, or Executive Office roles
Experience supporting senior executives or founders with meaningful external stakeholder exposure
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to simplify complex topics for investors and executives
Experience in startup / venture-backed / venture studio environments
Daily user of AI productivity tools such as Claude, Copilot, Gemini, or similar
Strong judgment, discretion, and ability to manage confidential, high-impact work
Bachelor’s degree required (elite or technical university preferred)

Nice to Have

Deep familiarity with AI venture studio operations and executive decision support

Location & Travel

Remote-first (US) with approximately ~1 week per month in the San Francisco Bay Area
