Delivery Manager - Project Delivery

Role Overview

Delivery Manager – Project Delivery will coordinate delivery across multiple projects and workstreams, ensuring consistency, predictability, and strong client outcomes. You act as a delivery orchestrator, setting cadence and standards for Lead Project Managers while stepping in directly when risks, dependencies, or client conversations become complex.

Responsibilities

Delivery Leadership

• Own delivery health across multiple concurrent engagements
• Ensure consistent execution and predictable reporting across teams
• Manage cross-team dependencies, risks, and escalations
• Assess competing change initiatives to avoid change saturation and reduce delivery risk

Team & Capability Development

• Mentor Lead Project Managers and delivery teams
• Shape and uphold delivery standards and methodology across the Delivery Management practice
• Provide frequent, candid feedback; address performance gaps through outcome-focused conversations

Agile & Methodology

• Select and apply the right delivery methodology (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) based on engagement context
• Drive process improvement and delivery efficiency

Client Engagement

• Serve as a consultative partner and internal advocate for client success

Requirements

• Experience coordinating delivery across multi-project / multi-workstream engagements
• Ability to set cadence and standards and ensure governance across teams
• Judgment in choosing delivery methodology appropriate to engagement context

Nice-to-Haves

• Leadership/mentoring experience with Lead Project Managers and delivery teams
• Comfort handling complex client conversations and escalations
• Experience supporting Azure-focused professional services or cloud transformation programs
