About the role
Role Overview
Decision Science Analyst at Kobie is a client-facing, hands-on role focused on turning loyalty and customer data into actionable insights that improve business outcomes (e.g., sales/profit via customer loyalty programs).
What You’ll Do
- Deliver data-driven customer insights that support client loyalty initiatives in collaboration with Strategy and Client Services
- Build and maintain audience lists to support CRM teams and targeted campaigns
- Produce actionable recommendations by extracting insights from complex customer datasets aligned to client strategy and success criteria
- Create data visualizations and narratives that are understandable to stakeholders across technical levels
- Partner with Data Engineering and Business Intelligence teams to design and develop new tools, models, and data sources
- Develop learning agendas and test plans to make attribution reliable and improve KPIs such as incremental ROI and LTV
- Manage workflow, scope, and prioritization of client requests and internal investments
Requirements
- 2–4+ years of relevant experience in customer analytics and/or marketing/CRM
- Strong ability to tell stories with data and influence senior stakeholders
- Experience with data exploration and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Sigma
- Demonstrated success with customer segmentation techniques including RFM, cluster analysis, and regression modeling
- Strong project management skills; ability to juggle multiple concurrent projects
- Degree in Statistics, Marketing, Economics, or Computer Science
- Python/SQL experience preferred
Nice to Have
- Master’s in Statistics, Economics, Applied Mathematics, or an MBA
- Proficiency in marketing and loyalty principles
