About the role
Role Overview
Decision Science Analyst at Kobie — a client-facing, hands-on analytics role focused on turning loyalty/customer data into actionable insights that improve sales/profit through customer loyalty programs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver data-driven customer insights that align with client objectives in partnership with Strategy and Client Services.
- Build and maintain audience lists to support the CRM team and enable targeted campaigns.
- Produce recommendations by extracting insights from complex client data (grounded in strategy, success criteria, and program objectives).
- Create data visualizations and narratives for stakeholders across all levels.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering and Business Intelligence teams to design/develop tools, models, and data sources.
- Develop learning agendas, test plans, and solutions to strengthen attribution and maximize KPIs such as incremental ROI and LTV.
- Manage workflow, scope, and prioritization of client requests and Kobie investments.
Requirements
- 2–4+ years of relevant experience in customer analytics and/or marketing/CRM.
- Strong ability to communicate insights and influence senior stakeholders.
- Experience with data exploration and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Sigma.
- Demonstrated success with customer segmentation methods, including:
- RFM
- Cluster analysis
- Regression modeling
- Strong project management skills; able to juggle multiple projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Marketing, Economics, or Computer Science.
- Python/SQL programming experience (preferred).
Nice to Haves
- Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Applied Mathematics, or MBA.
- Proficiency in fundamental marketing and loyalty principles.
