About the role
Role Overview
Decision Science Analyst at Kobie (client-facing, hands-on analytics role) helping shape clients’ loyalty strategy through data-driven customer insights. You’ll work with Strategy and Client Services teams and collaborate with Data Engineering and Business Intelligence to build dashboards, models, and actionable recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Deliver data-driven, actionable customer insights that contribute to increased client sales/profit through loyalty programs
- Build and maintain audience lists to support CRM teams in targeted campaigns and engagement goals
- Produce actionable recommendations by extracting key insights from complex customer/loyalty data aligned to client strategy and success criteria
- Create data visualizations and narratives that make analysis understandable to stakeholders at all levels
- Collaborate with Data Engineering and Business Intelligence to design/develop new tools, models, and data sources
- Develop learning agendas and test plans to improve attribution and maximize KPIs such as incremental ROI and LTV
- Manage workflow, scope, and prioritization of client requests and Kobie investments
Requirements
- 2–4+ years of relevant experience in customer analytics and/or marketing/CRM
- Strong data storytelling skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders with insights and recommendations
- Familiarity with data exploration/visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Sigma
- Demonstrated ability with customer segmentation (e.g., RFM, cluster analysis) and regression modeling for targeted marketing
- Project management skills to handle multiple concurrent client requests/projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Marketing, Economics, or Computer Science
- Python/SQL programming experience
- Master’s in Statistics, Economics, Applied Mathematics, or MBA
- Proficiency in fundamental marketing and loyalty principles
