Role: Econometric Data Analyst (Stata SE)

Remote position (10–40 hours/week) for an hourly, contract engagement.

Responsibilities

Design and implement advanced econometric models in Stata SE, focused on panel data and causal inference.
Develop and maintain Stata do-files for efficient, automated, and reproducible data workflows.
Clean, transform, and validate large datasets to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Analyze complex data and produce actionable insights for academic and policy-focused use cases.
Document methods, code, and results in structured technical reports.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine analyses and align with project objectives.
Ensure research outputs meet standards for reproducibility, transparency, and data integrity.

Strong experience using Stata SE for econometric modeling and data analysis.
Strong knowledge of panel data techniques and causal inference methods.
Proficiency in cleaning, transforming, and validating large datasets.
Excellent written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail.
Ability to document analytical processes and clearly present findings.
Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
