Role Overview

Data Scientist (Remote, 12 months) You will work with data sources, build models, and help automate data pipelines to support forecasting and analytics.

Responsibilities

Identify and source relevant data from databases, APIs, or lab instrument logs.
Perform data wrangling to fix missing values and inconsistent formats.
Use statistical techniques and visualization to uncover trends and anomalies before modeling.
Design and train machine learning models (e.g., regression, decision trees, neural networks) to forecast outcomes.
Build automated ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines.
Work with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

Requirements (Primary Skills)

Python
SQL
Deep understanding of statistics, probability, and linear algebra
ETL experience

Nice-to-haves

Familiarity with additional cloud tooling beyond basic AWS/Azure ETL pipeline development.
