About the role

Role Overview

Data Scientist / Machine Learning Engineer responsible for developing and deploying advanced analytics and AI solutions. You will turn large, complex datasets into actionable insights by owning the end-to-end lifecycle of data science projects—from exploration through production deployment—while partnering with technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement ML/statistical models for business problems including classification, regression, anomaly detection, and forecasting.
  • Explore and prepare data: identify patterns/anomalies, perform data cleaning, transformation, and feature engineering.
  • Develop and optimize algorithms to improve accuracy and performance.
  • Deliver end-to-end solutions by building and deploying analytical systems with scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with domain experts, engineers, architects, and business stakeholders.
  • Align data pipelines and architectures with analytical workload needs (data flow, storage, processing).
  • Validate models and monitor performance over time using statistical testing and relevant metrics.
  • Communicate results by translating complex findings for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Share knowledge and mentor less experienced team members.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field (Data Science, CS, IT, Statistics) or equivalent experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Production experience with Databricks (required).
  • Hands-on experience developing and deploying predictive/analytical models in real applications.
  • Strong statistical foundation (hypothesis testing, regression, probability distributions, time series modeling).
  • Experience with big data and distributed computing; cloud experience with AWS or Azure.
  • Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Clear communication with diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Not provided (posting cuts off after “Preferred Qualifications Experience working …”).
