Role Overview

Data Scientist (Contractor, Remote) — help train next-generation AI systems by building statistical models and delivering actionable insights from high-quality data.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and preprocess diverse datasets to ensure data integrity.
• Develop, validate, and implement statistical models to extract actionable insights.
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
• Communicate findings through compelling data visualizations and reports for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate on end-to-end data projects (ideation to delivery).
• Continuously improve analytical methodologies and automate parts of data workflows.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in statistics, mathematics, and data analysis.
• Proven experience working with, collecting, and cleaning large, complex datasets.
• Proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages for modeling and data manipulation.
• Strong data modeling skills, including building and validating predictive models.
• Advanced data visualization skills using tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clarity and precision.

Nice to Have

• Experience in remote, cross-functional, or customer-focused environments.
• Background in developing and deploying machine learning solutions in production.
