Role: Data Scientist (Remote)

Joveo AI is hiring a Data Scientist to turn large datasets into predictive models and insights that improve hiring outcomes for employers globally. You will work across statistics, machine learning, and product to translate data into decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design and build predictive models and statistical analyses for business problems
• Perform exploratory data analysis on large, complex datasets to find actionable insights
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deploy models into production
• Define and monitor key metrics, run A/B experiments, and measure impact
• Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Maintain data science tooling, notebooks, and reproducible research pipelines

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python and the data science stack (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy)
• Solid foundation in statistics, probability, and experimental design
• Experience with machine learning model development and evaluation
• Proficiency with SQL and large-scale data querying (e.g., BigQuery, Redshift, or Snowflake)
• Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests and causal inference studies
• Ability to clearly present complex analysis to non-technical audiences
