Data Scientist (Remote)

Role Overview

Joveo AI is hiring a Data Scientist (Remote) to turn large, complex datasets into insights and predictive models that improve hiring outcomes for global employers. You’ll work at the intersection of statistics, machine learning, and product, converting data into decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build predictive models and statistical analyses for business problems
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) on large datasets to find actionable insights
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deploy models into production
• Define and monitor key metrics, run A/B experiments, and measure impact
• Communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Maintain data science tooling, notebooks, and reproducible research pipelines

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python and core data science tooling (pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy)
• Solid foundation in statistics, probability, and experimental design
• Experience developing and evaluating machine learning models
• Proficiency with SQL and large-scale querying (BigQuery, Redshift, or Snowflake)
• Experience with A/B testing and causal inference studies
• Ability to present complex analyses clearly to non-technical audiences
