About the role

Role: Data Scientist (Remote)

Joveo is hiring a Data Scientist to turn large-scale hiring datasets into actionable insights and predictive models that improve recruiting outcomes. You’ll work across statistics, machine learning, and product to help drive data-informed decisions.

Responsibilities

Design and build predictive models and statistical analyses to solve business problems
Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) on large, complex datasets to find actionable insights
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deploy models into production
Define and monitor key metrics, run A/B tests, and measure impact
Communicate results and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Maintain data science tooling, notebooks, and reproducible research pipelines

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong proficiency in Python and the data science stack (pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy)
Solid foundation in statistics, probability, and experimental design
Experience with machine learning model development and evaluation
Proficiency with SQL and large-scale querying (BigQuery, Redshift, or Snowflake)
Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests and causal inference studies
Ability to present complex analysis clearly to non-technical audiences
