Role Overview

Use advanced statistical modeling, analytics, and experimentation to optimize lending decisions and improve portfolio performance. Partner with software engineering and cross-functional teams to operationalize models and deliver actionable insights to senior management.

Key Responsibilities

• Build predictive models to optimize lending decisions using statistical modeling and simulation techniques
• Analyze consumer risk behavior trends, their impact on the portfolio, and associated business opportunities
• Support model implementation with the software engineering team, including post-release checks and analysis
• Develop technical tools and platforms to standardize and streamline model development and monitoring
• Define key performance metrics and create automated reporting dashboards using SQL and Python
• Design A/B testing for models and underwriting strategies; evaluate impact and recommend changes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to discover new insights from data
• Communicate concise, actionable strategies to senior management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 2+ years of professional experience in data analytics and statistical modeling
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases
• Python programming experience
• Strong quantitative/problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience working cross-functionally in a dynamic environment

Nice to Have

• Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., math, statistics, analytics, quantitative finance, engineering)
• Experience with specialty finance/FinTech analytics
