Data Scientist

Role Overview

Neon One is seeking a foundational Data Scientist to help architect new data models and an AI intelligence layer for automating business processes across its products. This is a greenfield role supporting AI agents and production-ready reporting.

Responsibilities

• Data Modeling & Architecture
  • Design relational, dimensional, and analytical data models from large, disparate datasets.
  • Extend models into Salesforce Data 360, mapping objects for downstream analytics and AI agents.
• Infrastructure & Pipeline Integration
  • Partner with Data Engineering and Salesforce architects to define data requirements and ensure pipeline integrity.
  • Implement zero-copy data federation between Snowflake/AWS and enterprise CRM systems.
• Model Deployment & MLOps
  • Build, train, validate, and package machine learning models.
  • Deploy and monitor models in production at scale.
• Translate Data into Production Artifacts
  • Convert model outputs into production data products and structured data views.
  • Communicate architecture and modeling decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders (including executives and product).
• Platform Value
  • Develop the data layers and infrastructure powering dashboards and reports (e.g., industry trends and per-customer insights).

Requirements

• 4+ years hands-on experience in data science or data engineering.
• Strong Python for heavy data manipulation, ETL/ELT, and system integration.
• Experience deploying machine learning infrastructure in production.
• AWS SageMaker and automated deployment workflows (highly preferred).
• Advanced SQL (complex manipulation, query optimization).
• Solid data warehousing fundamentals and dimensional modeling (Kimball), schema design, and database patterns for ML pipelines.
• Autonomous self-starter comfortable with ambiguous data and owning projects end-to-end.

Nice-to-haves

• Direct experience with Salesforce integrations (Salesforce Data 360 and CRM federation) and AI-agent-focused data layer design.
