About the role

Role Overview

Joveo AI is hiring a Data Scientist to join cross-functional, decentralized pods. You will build and deploy state-of-the-art NLP models and predictive algorithms to optimize job embeddings, occupation classification, and applicant forecasting.

Responsibilities

Develop and fine-tune language-agnostic embedding models for processing millions of job postings.
Use transfer learning and predictive techniques (e.g., XGBoost/gradient boosting) to help reduce Cost-Per-Applicant (CPA).
Partner with Product Managers and Software Engineers to push ML code into production.
Identify and apply AI/ML approaches to help reduce bias in recruitment advertising.

Requirements

Proven experience building machine learning models, specifically NLP and predictive analytics.
Strong proficiency in Python and relevant libraries: NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, Gensim.
Experience with big data frameworks and deploying models in cloud environments.
A can-do mindset and passion for solving complex real-world problems.

Nice-to-Haves

Experience specifically with job-ads and recruiting/bias-reduction use cases.
Familiarity with embedding models such as SentenceBERT.
