About the role
Role Overview
Design and implement advanced statistical and AI/ML solutions to extract actionable insights for an AI-powered product safety system.
Responsibilities
- Build statistical and AI/ML models to support product safety decision-making (including semantic analysis).
- Rigorously evaluate model performance to ensure reliability and fairness.
- Explore emerging technologies and novel methodologies to solve complex problems efficiently.
- Collaborate with Agile teams and contribute to iterative development and continuous improvement.
- Communicate analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3+ years developing statistical and AI/ML models.
- 3+ years building regression, classification, and NLP (and other statistical/ML) models.
- 3+ years hands-on with Python, including Pandas and scikit-learn, plus PyTorch/TensorFlow.
- 3+ years working in modern cloud environments, specifically Azure.
- 2+ years experience with SQL for data manipulation and querying.
- Proficiency with dashboard visualization tools such as Power BI (or equivalent).
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI-powered product safety / product safety “Sentinel” models.
- Familiarity with Git-based workflows and automated pipelines (including tools like GitHub Copilot).
