Role Overview

Data Scientist working with a Haystack partner to apply leadership and data science expertise to deliver real-world impact.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with clients to understand data-driven questions and requirements
Develop algorithms and systems to extract insights from complex datasets
Use tools/frameworks to transform disparate data into objective answers
Apply strong understanding of data meaning and potential applications
Help solve global challenges with innovative data science solutions
Build automated analytic software and algorithms
Create ETL pipelines, including API querying and data conditioning

Requirements

2+ years experience with data science programming languages such as Python or R
Experience building ETL pipelines, including API querying and data conditioning
Proficiency with version control tools such as Git (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket)
Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning methods
Ability to design and develop automated analytic software/algorithms
Bachelor’s degree + 3+ years data science experience, or 7+ years in lieu of a degree
TS/SCI clearance required
