Role Overview
Data Scientist working with a Haystack partner to apply leadership and data science expertise to deliver real-world impact.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand data-driven questions and requirements
- Develop algorithms and systems to extract insights from complex datasets
- Use tools/frameworks to transform disparate data into objective answers
- Apply strong understanding of data meaning and potential applications
- Help solve global challenges with innovative data science solutions
- Build automated analytic software and algorithms
- Create ETL pipelines, including API querying and data conditioning
Requirements
- 2+ years experience with data science programming languages such as Python or R
- Experience building ETL pipelines, including API querying and data conditioning
- Proficiency with version control tools such as Git (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket)
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning methods
- Ability to design and develop automated analytic software/algorithms
- Bachelor’s degree + 3+ years data science experience, or 7+ years in lieu of a degree
- TS/SCI clearance required
