Role Overview

Join GoGuardian’s Data and AI team as a Data Scientist IV. You’ll optimize company performance through machine learning, experiments, and interactive dashboards, while contributing to research and production-grade algorithms that serve students and educators.

Key Missions / Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize advanced machine learning models to improve educational content delivery.
• Use statistical analysis and data mining to analyze large datasets and produce actionable insights for product development.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate data science solutions into the platform, ensuring alignment with educational goals.

Requirements

• 7+ years leading data science initiatives delivering measurable impact.
• Experience extracting data from multiple sources and formats.
• Advanced Python and SQL skills.
• PhD or Master’s in a quantitative field (e.g., science, math, statistics, engineering) plus professional Data Scientist experience.
• Strong communication skills to explain complex findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring/supporting junior to mid-level data scientists.
• 7+ years experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Deep Learning.
• Knowledge of best practices for coding/scientific projects.
• Strong proficiency in traditional statistics and ML approaches.

Nice-to-Haves

• Git experience.
• Cloud computing experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
