Role Overview

Join Gartner’s Services Data Science team to tackle challenging business problems. You’ll build advanced AI/ML solutions—especially generative AI and LLM-based agents—to turn complex information into actionable business workflows.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement LLM-based agents that synthesize complex information and initiate actions in business workflows.
• Use advanced generative AI techniques to extract actionable insights from unstructured text (e.g., call transcripts, emails).
• Predict client interest using client digital footprint and provide recommendations to increase client value.
• Apply statistical and machine learning to client retention data and build customer churn prediction models to identify at-risk clients.
• Develop tools to process structured and unstructured data.
• Engineer features/signals and build training datasets for ML models from diverse data sources.

What You’ll Need

• Degree in Computer Science or related (BS required; MS preferred) with focus areas including Natural Language Processing and Information Retrieval (a plus).
• 4+ years of experience in data science applied to live initiatives or software development.
• Experience working on GenAI projects.
• Minimum 4+ years coding in Python and performing statistical analysis.
• Minimum 2 years in several of:
  • Prompt Engineering and working with LLMs
  • Machine Learning and statistical techniques
  • Data mining and recommendation systems
  • Natural Language Processing
  • Information Retrieval
  • Working with large volumes of data
  • User behavior modeling
