Role Overview

Join Gartner’s Services Data Science team to build advanced data science and Generative AI solutions that help clients make smarter decisions and drive business value. The role involves working in a startup-like environment with access to strong facilities, technology, and expertise.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement LLM-based agents that synthesize complex information and trigger actions within business workflows.
• Use advanced Generative AI on unstructured text (e.g., call transcripts, emails) to generate actionable insights.
• Predict client interest based on digital footprint and produce relevant recommendations.
• Build customer churn prediction models to proactively identify at-risk clients.
• Apply statistical and machine learning techniques for client retention insights.
• Develop tools to process structured and unstructured data.
• Engineer features/signals to train ML models using diverse data sources.

What You’ll Need

• BS required; MS preferred in Computer Science or related fields (Math, Physics, Statistics, Economics). NLP/Information Retrieval is a plus.
• 4+ years of experience in data science methodologies applied to live initiatives or software development.
• Experience working with GenAI projects.
• 4+ years of Python coding and statistical analysis.
• 2+ years in several of:
  • Prompt Engineering and working with LLMs
  • Machine Learning and statistical techniques
  • Data mining and recommendation systems
  • Natural Language Processing and Information Retrieval
  • Handling large volumes of data
  • User behavior modeling
