Data Scientist (Full Remote)

Role overview

You will work with cross-functional teams to turn business problems into actionable data solutions. You’ll design and maintain data pipelines, build statistical/ML models, and communicate insights through clear visualizations to stakeholders and executives.

Key missions

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business problems into data solutions.
Design, build, and maintain data pipelines to support reliable ingestion and transformation, and drive data quality best practices.
Develop and deploy statistical models and machine learning algorithms, and communicate results to executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Report directly to the CTO.
Deliver end-to-end data outcomes independently with an ownership mindset.

Requirements

Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across departments and stakeholder groups.
Attention to data quality: validation, anomaly detection, and root-cause analysis of inconsistencies.
Ability to design pipelines for imperfect, evolving data sources.
Proficiency in Python and SQL.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker.
Some familiarity with infrastructure and setup (databases, data warehouses, VMs).
Understanding of core machine learning concepts and practical application.

Nice-to-haves

Experience with modern data stack tools such as dbt, Airflow, Spark (or equivalents).
Experience with B2B SaaS-relevant data, including Salesforce and financial metrics.
