Data Scientist for Top Cosmetic firm

Role Overview

You will analyze anonymized consumer interaction data and extract insights from unstructured language across call center and cross-channel conversations. The goal is to identify customer intent, surface trends not covered by existing KPIs, and translate language signals into structured insights that can inform content strategy and web experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze anonymized consumer interaction and call center conversation data from multiple channels, brands, and interaction types.
• Explore and extract intent patterns from unstructured language and conversation content.
• Identify trends in customer language that are missing from existing KPI reporting.
• Convert unstructured language into structured insights and reusable analysis frameworks.
• Produce recommendations for how findings can guide content strategy.
• Investigate how LLM-era language analysis can support web content decisions.
• Partner closely with a Program Manager to define analysis priorities and deliverables.

Required Experience

• Proven experience as a Data Scientist working with large-scale datasets.
• Strong experience analyzing unstructured text / language-based data.
• Experience identifying trends, patterns, and intent signals from customer interactions.
• Ability to turn exploratory analysis into structured, actionable insights.
• Experience working with anonymized or sensitive consumer data.
• Familiarity with Azure-based data environments.

Engagement Details

• Works with a large historical dataset collected over 10 years across consumer interaction touchpoints.
• Data is stored in a homegrown database and Azure environment with an anonymized semantic layer.
• Initial exploratory phase uses manual exports of conversation data before more connected pipelines are established.
