About the role
Role overview
Join the Content Engineering team as a Senior Data Scientist. You will design, develop, and deploy machine learning and generative AI solutions to improve content workflows.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy ML and generative AI solutions.
- Contribute to generative AI initiatives, including:
- Prompt engineering
- Prompt validation
- Optimizing agentic workflow pipelines
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable code, primarily in Python, following software development best practices.
- Stay current with emerging AI/ML trends.
- Participate in design reviews and best-practice development.
- Mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- Strong engineering mindset plus solid data science and emerging AI expertise.
- Hands-on experience with database frameworks (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Knowledge of prompt engineering and generative AI concepts.
- Hands-on ML experience with frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Awareness of CI/CD and testing frameworks, plus collaborative development practices.
- 5+ years of experience in data science or related roles.
- Strong Python programming skills and familiarity with software engineering principles.
- Exposure to LLMs and agentic AI systems.
- Experience with data-driven automation and content workflows.
Nice to have
- AWS basics (e.g., S3 buckets).
- Experience with ML tracking tools such as MLflow, Weights & Biases (W&B), or Neptune.ai.
- Familiarity with Databricks.
