About the role
Role overview
Data Scientist (Drug Discovery) focused on platform analytics within Isomorphic Labs’ data team. You’ll work with data curators, engineers, AI experts, and drug discovery scientists to capture and analyze data that underpins the company’s drug design engine.
Your impact
- Drive analytics that help understand how Isomorphic Labs’ technology and drug design processes are performing.
- Turn business intelligence into actionable insights for Product, Data, Engineering, Research, and Drug Discovery teams.
What you will do
- Conduct internal and external benchmarking on machine learning model performance and drug discovery processes.
- Collaborate with engineering to build an analytics layer that supports generalizable drug design and measures the impact of models on success rates.
- Analyze business intelligence data to produce outputs that improve decision-making across product, engineering, and research.
- Partner with Engineering, Product, and drug discovery teams to implement telemetry and traceability, capturing drug design intent and metadata.
- Design and track key metrics (KPIs) to evaluate progress toward long-term goals.
- Identify bottlenecks across the end-to-end delivery system to optimize real-world delivery.
Skills and qualifications
Essential
- Proven experience in a data science or platform analytics role, ideally in a drug discovery company.
- Strong coding skills in Python and SQL, including experience using data science toolkits.
