Role Overview

DataAnnotation is seeking a Data Scientist to help train and evaluate AI chatbots. You will assess model outputs, measure progress, and apply data analysis and statistical methods to improve the quality of each model.

Responsibilities

Create writing and editing tasks for AI chatbots
Evaluate chatbot outputs for correctness and overall performance
Monitor and assess model logic and identify issues to improve output quality

Requirements

Fluency in English (native or bilingual)
Detail-oriented approach
Demonstrated proficiency in data analysis, and related technical, statistical, and mathematical skills
Ability to solve problems to improve model quality

Preferred Qualifications

A current, in-progress, or completed Master’s and/or PhD

Compensation & Work Details

Remote (full-time or part-time)
Independent contract role
Hourly pay starting at $40+ USD/hour, plus bonuses for high-quality and high-volume work
Projects are chosen by the worker, with flexible scheduling
Payments via PayPal
