Role Overview

Applied AI Engineer (Hourly contract) focused on building and deploying machine learning solutions to solve real-world business problems. Remote work with a commitment of 10–40 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for business use cases
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to find opportunities for AI integration and innovation
• Preprocess, analyze, and interpret complex datasets using Python and related tools
• Build APIs and data pipelines to integrate ML models into production systems
• Optimize models for scalability, performance, and reliability in operational environments
• Document technical workflows, methods, and results
• Communicate solutions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python for data processing, automation, and ML development
• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and model development workflows
• Experience with JSON data structures and API integrations
• Ability to translate business requirements into deployable AI solutions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with version control and collaborative development tools
• Self-motivated and comfortable in a fast-paced remote environment
