About the role

Data Science Lead (Full Remote)

Serve as the strategic architect for Prove’s data ecosystem—designing data architectures, leading research for new data sources, and ensuring high-quality data flows into production solutions.

Responsibilities

Design and oversee scalable data architectures that support:
- advanced analytics
- ML modeling
- real-time processing
Scout and evaluate new data sources (internal/external/alternative), pressure-testing them for predictive power and commercial viability.
Lead rapid prototyping and PoCs to validate new technologies, algorithms, and data structures before scaling to production.
Establish rigorous analytical methodologies and ensure reliable data ingestion into downstream production systems.

Requirements

6+ years in Data Science/Data Engineering, including 2+ years in a technical leadership or architectural role
Strong expertise in:
- data modeling and schema design (SQL/NoSQL)
- statistical evaluation
- MLOps deployment patterns
Hands-on experience with:
- Python, R, SQL
- Cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Big data technologies (Spark, Kafka)
- Orchestration (Airflow)
- MLOps tools
Ability to translate complex technical architectures into business value for non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have

Experience bridging R&D and production (research-to-production workflows)
