Data Science Intern (Remote – US Time Zone)

Join a solutions-driven data science team to help build and evaluate data-driven solutions for business problems.

Responsibilities

Assist in designing and implementing data-driven solutions
Work with structured and unstructured datasets for cleaning, preprocessing, and analysis
Build and evaluate machine learning models under guidance from senior data scientists
Perform EDA and present actionable insights
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, business)
Contribute to data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting tools
Document workflows, methodologies, and findings

Required Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
Strong foundation in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn)
Understanding of ML fundamentals (regression, classification, clustering)
Data visualization experience (Matplotlib, Seaborn, or similar)
Familiarity with SQL and working with databases
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to work remotely with US overlapping hours

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow or PyTorch)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Knowledge of real-world applications (e.g., recommendation systems, NLP, forecasting)
Prior internship/project experience in data science/analytics
Familiarity with Git

Additional Notes

Duration: Internship, typically 3–6 months, with potential extension based on performance
Compensation: Competitive stipend (based on experience and client budget)
