Role Overview

Data Science Intern (Remote – United States)

• Internship duration: 2–3 months

• Designed for students, recent graduates, and aspiring data professionals to work on real-world datasets and industry-focused projects.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured datasets
• Conduct Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to find trends and insights
• Develop and evaluate machine learning models using Python
• Use tools/libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, and Jupyter Notebook
• Create data visualizations and produce reports
• Support solving real-world business problems with data-driven approaches
• Collaborate on live projects and present findings and recommendations
• Continuously learn and apply new data science techniques

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a BS/MS in Data Science, Computer Science, AI, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
• Basic Python programming knowledge
• Understanding of statistics, probability, and machine learning fundamentals
• Familiarity with SQL and data analysis concepts
• Experience with Pandas / NumPy / Scikit-learn is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Self-motivated and eager to learn
