Data Engineering Team Lead

In this role, you will design and deliver scalable data solutions, advise clients on maximizing the value of their data, and guide solution architecture. Key missions: Concevoir et livrer des solutions de données évolutives, y compris des modèles de données, des pipelines ELT/ETL, des plateformes de données cloud et des outils BI.. Conseiller les clients sur l'optimisation de leur environnement de données pour une efficacité maximale et traduire les besoins commerciaux en stratégies techniques.. Gérer des équipes techniques de 4 à 6 personnes, déléguer le travail sur plusieurs engagements et assigner le personnel avec les compétences appropriées aux projets. Profile: - The ideal candidate will be a strong individual contributor and an emerging leader, comfortable mentoring others and driving high-quality outcomes - This client-facing position requires excellent communication skills, technical expertise, and a consultative mindset - Experience in consulting/services organizations (preferred) - Experience optimizing database/query performance - 5 to 8 years of work experience in data analytics or data engineering - Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a quantitative or technical field (preferred) - Proficiency with Python and advanced SQL - Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Basecamp, JIRA, ASANA) - A passion for exploring and solving different kinds of problems - Minimum of 1 year leading projects, formally or informally - Experience with data warehousing and using Snowflake - Exposure to developer tools/workflow (e.g., git/github, SSH) and command line environments - Experience with Media & Entertainment or Telecom companies (preferred) - Experience with the AWS, Google Cloud ecosystem (BigQuery, Redshift) - Experience managing internal employees, ideally with formal direct reports - Proficiency with business visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Microsoft PowerBI)
