About the role

Role Overview

Data Engineer (Remote) joining a growing Data Services team. You will solve complex data problems and work directly with customers to deliver high-quality, tailored datasets at scale.

Responsibilities

Build and optimize large-scale SQL queries for customer use cases
Deliver customer data requests (tailored datasets)
Improve data quality
Develop and maintain ETL/data pipelines
Support pre- and post-sales technical initiatives
Work with APIs as part of data delivery

Requirements

Strong SQL skills (joins, CTEs, window functions, and query optimization)
Experience with large-scale datasets (billions of rows)
ETL/pipeline development experience
Strong experience with relational databases and modern data warehouses
Experience working with APIs
Strong communication skills and customer-facing confidence

Nice to Have

AWS experience
Geospatial, logistics, or maritime data experience
