Data Engineer (Contract, Remote) for Crossing Hurdles.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL processes for data integration and transformation.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze data needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Optimize existing workflows for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in production data pipelines to protect data integrity.
- Write clean, well-documented Python following industry standards and best practices.
- Drive data quality, including implementing validation mechanisms across data processes.
Requirements
- Expert-level proficiency in Python.
- Extensive hands-on experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines and data workflows.
- Proven ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with high attention to detail.
- Expertise in debugging and optimizing large-scale data systems.
Compensation & Schedule
- $30–$100/hour
- 10–40 hrs/week
