Data Engineer

Role Overview

Peaple Talent is partnering with a fast-growing company seeking a Data Engineer (Remote-First). The role focuses on building and automating data pipelines that can scale as new datasets and data volumes grow.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and implement data automation processes for new and existing datasets
• Write production code to ensure reliability and performance at increasing data volumes
• Design and build data storage and database solutions, including:
  • SQL databases
  • Azure Blob Storage
  • Appropriate data solutions to house datasets
• Work with ETL/ELT and data warehouse/data factory tooling

Requirements

• Strong experience with SQL
• Experience with ETL/ELT
• Azure data engineering services, including:
  • Azure Data Warehouse
  • Azure Data Factory
• Scripting/programming experience in one or more of:
  • Python
  • PowerShell
  • C#
