About the role

Role Overview

The Data Engineer designs, builds, and optimizes data pipelines that support both analytical and operational use cases. You’ll work with large-scale data infrastructure to ensure efficient and secure data flow across systems.

Primary Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, optimize, and document ETL/ELT pipelines
Ensure data integrity and security across storage and processing layers
Support business intelligence using data warehousing technologies
Automate data processing tasks to improve efficiency and scalability
Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to integrate data solutions

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
2+ years of experience in data engineering or software development
Proficiency in SQL and Python
Knowledge of data modeling, data governance, and distributed computing

Nice-to-Haves

Experience with cloud data platforms: AWS Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery
Experience with dbt

Remote / Availability

Fully remote within the U.S. (home or location of record)
Must be available five days per week during designated work hours
Work arrangement may change based on business needs and performance
