About the role
Role Overview
The Data Engineer designs, builds, and optimizes data pipelines that support both analytical and operational use cases. You’ll work with large-scale data infrastructure to ensure efficient and secure data flow across systems.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, optimize, and document ETL/ELT pipelines
- Ensure data integrity and security across storage and processing layers
- Support business intelligence using data warehousing technologies
- Automate data processing tasks to improve efficiency and scalability
- Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to integrate data solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in data engineering or software development
- Proficiency in SQL and Python
- Knowledge of data modeling, data governance, and distributed computing
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with cloud data platforms: AWS Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery
- Experience with dbt
Remote / Availability
- Fully remote within the U.S. (home or location of record)
- Must be available five days per week during designated work hours
- Work arrangement may change based on business needs and performance
