About the role

Role Overview

The Data Engineer designs, builds, and optimizes data pipelines that support both analytical and operational use cases. You’ll work with large-scale data infrastructure to ensure efficient and secure data flow across systems.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, optimize, and document ETL/ELT pipelines
  • Ensure data integrity and security across storage and processing layers
  • Support business intelligence using data warehousing technologies
  • Automate data processing tasks to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to integrate data solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in data engineering or software development
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python
  • Knowledge of data modeling, data governance, and distributed computing

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with cloud data platforms: AWS Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery
  • Experience with dbt

Remote / Availability

  • Fully remote within the U.S. (home or location of record)
  • Must be available five days per week during designated work hours
  • Work arrangement may change based on business needs and performance
