About the role

Role Overview

NextKinLife LLC is hiring a Data Engineer to build scalable, reliable data systems and modern cloud-native architectures. You will work with global teams to deliver data solutions for enterprise and product-based applications.

Responsibilities

Design and develop ETL / data pipelines
Build cloud-native data solutions using AWS
Optimize SQL queries and improve database performance
Process large-scale structured and unstructured datasets
Integrate APIs and third-party systems
Collaborate with distributed engineering teams

Requirements

3–8 years of Data Engineering experience
Strong skills in Python and SQL and data processing
Experience with AWS and at least one of: Databricks, Snowflake, or the Hadoop ecosystem
Knowledge of MongoDB / PostgreSQL / MySQL
Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines
Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have / Preferred

Experience integrating data across APIs and third-party systems
