Role Overview

Data Engineer Intern (10 weeks, summer)

• Join the Data Integrations team for hands-on work building scalable software and real-world data integration solutions.
• Fully remote, starting June 1 through August 7.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development and enhancement of internal tools and applications using technologies like Cloverleaf, Azure DevOps, and data integration frameworks.
• Implement and optimize data integration workflows for connectivity between systems and applications.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Assist with debugging, testing, and documenting code/routes.
• Explore modern engineering practices including CI/CD, cloud-native development, and data integration strategies.
• Participate in team events, trainings, and learning activities throughout the internship.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a BS/MS program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Expected graduation in May/June 2026, December 2026, or May/June 2027.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
• Interest in Microsoft Azure, data integration technologies, and modern development frameworks.
• Eager to learn from a mentor and apply feedback.
• Open to innovation, including using AI to improve processes and reduce friction for patients and clients.
• Remote role, but ability to travel and work onsite at client/temporary/corporate locations as business needs require.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with ETL models and data integration techniques.
• Comfort with Agile methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
• Demonstrated leadership, innovation, and strong passion for learning.

Compensation

• $25/hr
