  • Standardize best practices with engineering peers to raise platform maturity.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering (or related).
  • Advanced SQL skills (complex transformations, optimization, performance tuning).
  • Proven experience building pipelines and data models for healthcare eligibility or membership data.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (or closely related Azure-based platforms).
  • Understanding of data integration patterns, ingestion frameworks, and system dependencies.
  • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex pipeline/data issues.

Preferred experience

  • Microsoft Fabric & Azure ecosystem, including:
    • Fabric Lakehouse/Warehouse
    • Data Pipelines
    • Dataflows Gen2
    • OneLake
    • Azure SQL / SQL Server
    • Azure Synapse
    • Azure Data Factory (or equivalents)
  • Analytics & visualization:
    • Power BI (semantic modeling, DAX, data modeling best practices)
  • Engineering best practices:
    • CI/CD, version control, and environment promotion for data workflows
  • Healthcare domain knowledge of eligibility structures such as contract/PBP, carve-outs, and exclusion logic.
