Data Engineer

Role Overview

The Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and systems that provide trusted data for analytics and product use cases. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions aligned to both near-term and long-term objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines using modern tools/frameworks
• Design and implement scalable, maintainable data models and storage solutions
• Apply agile best practices (refine stories, identify dependencies)
• Implement and enforce data quality controls, validation, and compliance standards
• Support deployment, scheduling, and monitoring of data pipelines/workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify data requirements and deliver high-quality solutions

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in data engineering, data modeling, and ETL pipelines
• Strong SQL and Python for building and fixing data pipelines
• Experience with cloud/data platforms, especially Azure and Databricks
• Familiarity with SnapLogic, Azure Data Factory, and Jenkins
• Practical experience with Terraform (infrastructure as code) and deployment pipelines
• Knowledge of data quality and monitoring tools (e.g., Soda)
• Proficiency with version control and CI/CD workflows (e.g., GitHub)

• Experience contributing to technical design and strengthening data quality practices
