Role Overview

Great Value Hiring is seeking a Data Engineer to design, implement, and manage data pipelines that support AI agent training initiatives. You’ll work closely with AI/ML engineers to ensure reliable, high-quality datasets and scalable data workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage data pipelines for AI agent training
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to ensure efficient data flows and high-quality training datasets
• Build and maintain scalable ETL processes using Python, MySQL, and PostgreSQL
• Use Java and JavaScript to integrate diverse data sources and enable seamless data exchange
• Optimize AI model outcomes through strong data engineering practices
• Document data processes clearly and communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Troubleshoot and resolve data issues to ensure data integrity and reliability for AI applications

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years hands-on experience as a Data Engineer (AI/ML project experience required)
• Advanced proficiency in Python, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Java, and JavaScript
• Strong understanding of AI concepts and experience training AI agents
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience implementing robust data pipelines and scalable architecture for machine learning projects
• Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fully remote team environment

Nice to Have

• Master’s degree in a related field
• Experience with AI agent frameworks and real-world deployment projects
• Background in fast-paced startups or innovation-driven environments
