About the role

Role Overview

Creospan Inc. is seeking a Data Engineer / Analytics Engineer (ProdOps) to support the ProdOps team (Remote, US). You will build and maintain dashboards, ETL/data pipelines, and production-grade Hive/Presto tables, ensuring strong data quality and scalable analytics delivery.

Responsibilities

Build dashboards and reporting solutions
Develop and maintain ETL/data pipelines
Create and manage Hive/Presto tables
Monitor data quality and pipeline health
Optimize SQL queries and data models
Collaborate with Data Scientists and Product teams

Requirements (Must-Have)

Strong SQL (Presto, Hive, SparkSQL)
Python experience
Experience building and maintaining data pipelines (e.g., Airflow, Dataswarm, or similar)
Data warehousing and dimensional modeling
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

Spark/Hadoop experience
BI tools such as Tableau or Unidash
Version control: Git or Mercurial
Experience at Meta or other large tech companies (ProdOps experience a plus)

Experience

3+ years required (typically 5+ years preferred)

Location / Work Authorization

Remote (US)
Candidates must be able to work in the US without sponsorship (W2 only; no C2C/3rd party).
