Role Overview

Apexon is hiring a Data Engineer (AI Focus) to design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions. The role focuses on modern data platforms that enable advanced analytics and support AI-driven decision-making in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows
Build and optimize data architectures for AI and advanced analytics use cases
Use Python for data processing, analysis, and AI model integration
Work with big data technologies such as Spark and Databricks
Develop and enforce data quality frameworks, monitoring, and performance metrics
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for business and operational analytics
Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and design discussions
Analyze structured and unstructured datasets to generate actionable insights
Communicate technical solutions and insights effectively to stakeholders

Required Skills

6+ years of Data Engineering experience
Python and SQL proficiency
Hands-on experience with Databricks
Experience with data pipeline design and data integration
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience in Agile environments
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field

Preferred Skills

Experience with AI/ML frameworks and model integration
Hands-on Apache Spark and big data ecosystems
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Experience in healthcare or other regulated industries
Knowledge of data quality, governance, and monitoring frameworks
Relevant technical certifications
