Role Overview

Data Engineer (Remote) Design and build scalable Databricks-based data pipelines and modernize the client’s overall data stack as part of a data platform migration.

Responsibilities

Migrate and integrate data from a recently acquired company into the client’s core data infrastructure
Design and build scalable Databricks-based data pipelines
Modernize the existing data stack and improve data pipeline reliability and scalability
Develop and maintain data pipelines as part of an end-to-end engineering workflow

Requirements (Must-Haves)

Strong hands-on Data Engineering experience
Databricks
AWS (preferred cloud platform)
Apache Spark
Terraform
CI/CD experience using GitHub Actions
Experience building and maintaining modern data pipelines

Nice-to-Haves

AWS-based implementations (explicitly noted as preferred)

Additional Information

Compensation: $60–70/hr (plus medical, dental, vision, and 401(k))
