Data Engineer (Retail & E-Commerce)

Build the data foundation that powers customer analytics, sales reporting, and digital platform performance for a retail/e-commerce environment.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain data pipelines for retail and e-commerce data
Integrate data from e-commerce platforms and customer systems
Support analytics for sales, customer behavior, and inventory
Develop and manage data warehouses
Ensure data quality and performance
Collaborate with analytics and business teams
Support ETL processes and reporting systems

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Minimum 2+ years of Data Engineering experience
Strong SQL and programming skills
Retail/e-commerce domain experience preferred

Nice-to-haves

Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify or Magento
Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL tools
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Familiarity with big data technologies such as Spark and Kafka

United States (Remote/Onsite)
