Data/BI Engineer

About the role

Join our US-based team as a Data/BI Engineer, where you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and developing our data warehouse and reporting infrastructure. This position focuses primarily on data engineering, business intelligence and reporting, and maintenance and support. You'll work independently on assigned tasks, with support from experienced team members, and communicate primarily through email and MS Teams. This is a part-time position, requiring 80 hours per month, with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 9-5 (US EST). Key missions: Maintaining and debugging existing data pipelines, monitoring and troubleshooting data pipeline issues, and updating and managing database views and filters.. Developing and maintaining BI reports in Microsoft Fabric on the Azure stack, creating new reports and dashboards, and updating and modifying existing Power BI reports.. Responding to ad-hoc queries and requests, providing ongoing technical support for existing systems and processes, and documenting issues, resolutions, and system changes. Profile: - Cloud Platforms: Experience with Azure stack (preferred) or other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) - Data Engineering: Experience with data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehouse maintenance - Database Management: Strong SQL skills for querying, debugging, and data investigation - Data Integration: Experience with external data sources and API integrations - BI/Analytics Tools: Proficiency with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI - Healthcare Domain Knowledge: Experience with healthcare systems and EHR platforms is a plus
