About the role

Role Overview

Avaap is seeking a UI/UX Architect and hands-on technical leader to lead the design and architecture of modern, enterprise-grade web applications within its Data Analytics & AI practice.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end front-end and application architecture for enterprise client engagements
Own the technical vision for modern web apps: performance, scalability, hosting strategy, and integration patterns
Design and implement high-performance, production-grade UI for complex enterprise/analytics use cases
Serve as the primary front-end technical authority: set standards, define patterns, guide engineering direction
Work across the full lifecycle: discovery, architecture, development, deployment, and production support
Architect integrations across UI and platforms, including APIs, authentication (SSO/OAuth), and enterprise data environments
Drive decisions on front-end performance optimization, load strategy, state management, CI/CD, and deployment models
Translate business/technical requirements into scalable application designs
Collaborate with data, backend, and DevOps teams for end-to-end solutions
Provide advisory support for data-driven interfaces/visualization tools (e.g., Streamlit, Tableau, Power BI) when relevant
Lead client technical conversations: architecture workshops, design reviews, and solution positioning

Requirements (Core Experience)

7–10+ years of web/app development with significant technical leadership responsibility
Experience as front-end architect or technical lead on enterprise-scale applications
Deep expertise in modern web frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, or similar) plus JavaScript/TypeScript and responsive design
Strong understanding of front-end architecture patterns and component-based design systems
Proven capability building for:
- Performance optimization
- Scalability and load handling
- Rich interaction design
- Maintainability
- Production stability
Cloud hosting experience: AWS, Azure, or GCP
Integration experience with APIs, authentication (SSO/OAuth), and enterprise backend services
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and environment management
Understanding of enterprise integration patterns and interoperability
Leadership in technical discovery sessions and architecture workshops
Ability to make architectural decisions independently in ambiguous environments
Experience establishing standards, guiding teams, and reviewing technical work
Executive-level communication and technical presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in a consulting organization
Experience with Streamlit, Tableau, and/or Microsoft Power BI
