Responsibilities

  • Perform rigorous data cleaning, transformation, and validation on large-scale datasets.
  • Produce clear, actionable insights via well-documented code, technical reports, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with the customer team to align on objectives, communicate findings, and iterate as needed.
  • Stay current with best practices in econometric research and Stata SE, and share knowledge with peers.
  • Ensure outputs meet reproducibility, transparency, and ethical data handling standards.

Requirements

  • Expert proficiency in Stata SE and experience with econometric modeling and do-file automation.
  • Strong understanding of panel data analysis, causal inference methods, and optimization for large datasets.
  • Excellent skills in data cleaning/prep/validation for complex statistical analysis.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; ability to clearly document and present results.
  • Proven ability to deliver reproducible research outputs and maintain analytic integrity.
  • Self-motivated and organized; able to work effectively in a fully remote environment.
  • Advanced degree in Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or related field.
  • Prior collaboration experience with academic or policy-focused institutions.

Nice-to-Haves
