Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced econometric models in Stata SE, focusing on panel data and causal inference.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Stata do-files for efficient data management, automation, and reproducible workflows.
- Perform rigorous data cleaning, transformation, and validation on large-scale datasets.
- Produce clear, actionable insights via well-documented code, technical reports, and presentations.
- Collaborate with the customer team to align on objectives, communicate findings, and iterate as needed.
- Stay current with best practices in econometric research and Stata SE, and share knowledge with peers.
- Ensure outputs meet reproducibility, transparency, and ethical data handling standards.
Requirements
- Expert proficiency in Stata SE and experience with econometric modeling and do-file automation.
- Strong understanding of panel data analysis, causal inference methods, and optimization for large datasets.
- Excellent skills in data cleaning/prep/validation for complex statistical analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication; ability to clearly document and present results.
- Proven ability to deliver reproducible research outputs and maintain analytic integrity.
- Self-motivated and organized; able to work effectively in a fully remote environment.
- Advanced degree in Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or related field.
- Prior collaboration experience with academic or policy-focused institutions.
Nice-to-Haves
- Familiarity with complementary tools/languages such as R or Python.
