Data Analyst

Role Overview

As a Data Analyst at Solace, you’ll be a strategic partner to the business—turning data into actionable insights and operational improvements. You’ll build scalable analytics, curate the data layer, and communicate findings to product, operations, and executive stakeholders.

Key Missions & Responsibilities

• Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in business processes and translate complex datasets into actionable insights.
• Design, implement, and maintain tracking systems and dashboards to automate manual reporting.
• Collaborate with engineering to maintain clean, reliable data models and help refine SQL transformations.

Required Profile

• Advanced SQL and strong expertise in Snowflake (writing efficient, complex queries for cloud data warehouses).
• BI & Dashboarding experience, including designing interactive dashboards and reports.
• Ability to work with messy real-world data, including nested JSON parsing and cleaning unstructured datasets.
• Analytical mindset focused on root-cause analysis, not just data retrieval.
• 3+ years of data analytics experience (preferably in a tech company).
• Strong communication skills to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-Haves

• Familiarity with Hex (or similar notebook-based BI tools).
• Experience with Looker, Tableau, or Metabase.
• Python or R for automation, statistical analysis, or forecasting.
• dbt (data build tool) familiarity to manage transformations and contribute to core data models.
• Background in operations / process optimization to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort.
