About the role

Join Solace, a rapidly scaling startup where data is at the core of our operations. As a Data Analyst, you will be a strategic partner to the business, transforming data into actionable insights and operational improvements. You will build scalable analytics, curate the data layer, synthesize and communicate findings, and wrangle complex data. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in data analytics, advanced SQL and Snowflake expertise, and a strong analytical mindset. Key missions: Identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies in processes, and transforming complex datasets into actionable insights.. Designing, implementing, and maintaining tracking systems and dashboards that automate manual reporting.. Collaborating with engineering to maintain clean, reliable data models, and helping refine SQL transformations. Profile: - BI & Dashboarding: You have strong experience designing interactive dashboards and reports. Familiarity with Hex (or similar notebook-based BI tools) is highly preferred. Experience with Looker, Tableau, or Metabase is also valuable - Startup DNA: You are comfortable with ambiguity, ready to adapt to shifting priorities, and willing to jump in and support the team wherever needed - Strong Communication: You can explain complex data concepts to product managers, operations teams, and executives alike - Advanced SQL & Snowflake: You are an expert at writing efficient, complex queries to extract and manipulate data from cloud data warehouses like Snowflake - Data Wrangling Expertise: You are comfortable working with messy, real-world data, including parsing nested JSON and cleaning unstructured datasets - Analytical Mindset: You don't just pull data; you analyze it to find the root cause of business problems - 3+ Years of Experience in data analytics, preferably for a tech company - Python/R: Experience using scripting languages for automation, advanced statistical analysis, or forecasting - Dbt Experience: Familiarity with dbt (data build tool) is a plus.
