Data Analyst

Role Overview

Join NEC’s Healthcare Team as a Data Analyst. You will analyze, interpret, and present healthcare data, partnering with customers and internal teams to turn reporting requirements into accurate, reliable reports.

Key Missions

• Analyze, interpret, and present healthcare data across NEC’s services.
• Gather and clarify reporting requirements with customers, prospects, and NEC staff.
• Build reports using reporting tools such as Power BI and SQL Server.
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for reports intended for publication, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

Requirements

• Experience with industry-standard reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, SSRS).
• Ability to communicate clearly and tailor messaging to different audiences.
• Experience analyzing large and/or complex datasets and using advanced reporting/analysis approaches.
• Strong technical skills in database query development using Microsoft SQL.
• Confident, self-motivated, adaptable, and results-oriented.
• Experience working in a service-based environment (supplier or internal service).
• Ability to establish credibility with customers, partners, colleagues, and broader stakeholder groups.
• Ability to operate with limited supervision within your area of responsibility.

Nice-to-Haves

• Working knowledge of HES data and its application to healthcare analytics.
• Experience working with healthcare data.
• Ability to synthesize insights from multiple sources and apply conclusions to business issues.
